TT Panel is not tied to any agency: why independent agency software matters

Published: · Last updated:

Short answer

TT Panel is not tied to any TikTok LIVE agency and puts no agency first. Software built by an agency carries a structural conflict of interest: the selling agency can decide who reaches the most valuable creators first. We explain what independence means in practice, why Backstage access matters and what to ask before you choose a tool.

Who is TT Panel tied to?

No one. TT Panel is not a subsidiary, partner or product of any TikTok LIVE agency; it belongs to no agency's sub agency network and puts no agency ahead of its customers. It is independent software with one job: helping the agency that uses it run its own work in a more orderly and safer way.

That sounds simple, but it is one of the most important questions to ask when you choose agency software. When the tool you use to find creators is not neutral, it quietly sets the rules of the race without you noticing.

What is the problem with software built by an agency?

Some apps on the market are built by teams that also run a TikTok LIVE agency and are then sold to other agencies. That is not wrong in itself, but it creates a structural conflict of interest. The selling agency competes with you for the same creators, and it decides how the tool works.

The obvious question in such a setup: when the best, highest earning creators show up on the list, who sends the first message? The agency selling the tool can put its own agency and its sub agencies first; it reaches the most valuable candidates before anyone else, and customer agencies are left with the less valuable creators who come second. Not every product has to work this way; but the seller holds the means to do it and has an interest that makes it worthwhile. And you cannot verify from the outside why the list reaches you in the order it does.

There is a data side too. Which creators you check, whom you message, who replies, which creator is talking to you: all of this is information a competing agency would like to see. If a competitor runs the tool, judge where that information goes by the product's design as well as by the contract.

Why is Backstage access a separate risk?

LIVE Backstage is TikTok's official management platform for agencies; the agency's creator roster, invitations and performance data live there. Some apps ask for access to the customer agency's Backstage account or session in order to run. That access lets the party running the tool see your creator roster and invitation history.

The Creator Network Management Policy TikTok publishes for agencies and the Backstage access rules govern who holds an agency account and how creators of other agencies may be approached; the policy also lists poaching other agencies' creators by improper means among prohibited conduct. In our view, a setup where a competing agency can reach its customer agencies' Backstage data does not fit the spirit of these rules and puts your agency account at needless risk. Always check the platform's own pages for the current, binding version of the rules. We explain what Backstage is in detail in what is TikTok LIVE Backstage.

How does TT Panel avoid this conflict?

No prioritization. TT Panel does not rank the candidate list on behalf of any agency and gives no agency first look. TT Panel's business is providing software to agencies, not recruiting creators; setting the best creators aside for one agency exists nowhere in the product.

Every agency works in its own setup. Each customer agency has a separate installation; the agency works only with its own TikTok account, its own team and its own data. One agency's conversations, creator notes and do not contact list are never opened to another agency.

Your agency account works only for you. It runs in the setup reserved for you and is never used in another agency's work. Invitations always go from your own Backstage account, by your own hand; TT Panel does not send invitations.

The central service shares public information only. The one shared layer is the central service for creator discovery and eligibility checks. It finds candidates from public profile and LIVE information and checks whether a creator is eligible to join an agency. During an eligibility check it sees which creator you asked about; we commit by contract that this information is never used in another agency's work.

Our independence principles

First: we are not a partner, subsidiary or part of the sub agency network of any agency.

Second: no agency gets priority, early access or reserved creators on the candidate list; every customer works under the same rules.

Third: your agency account is used only in the setup reserved for you, for your own work; it is never used in another agency's work.

Fourth: one agency's data, notes and conversations are never opened to another agency or used in another agency's work.

Fifth: we build compliance with platform rules into the product itself; an eligibility check before writing, a single first message and a record that cannot be altered are part of that.

What should you ask when choosing agency software?

Ask the seller plainly: Do you also run an agency, or do you have a partnership with one? How is the candidate list ordered, and who decides that order? Where is my agency account used for the tool to run, and can it be used in another customer's work? Who holds the information about the creators I check and message, and can it be used in another customer's work?

If you cannot get clear, written answers to these questions, think about whom the tool really serves before you think about its speed. We gathered all the selection questions in choosing TikTok LIVE agency software.

Is TT Panel a TikTok tool?

No. TT Panel is not an official TikTok tool and has no tie to TikTok or ByteDance. It is independent software built for TikTok LIVE agencies; invitations, creator management and contracts always stay in the agency's own Backstage account.

Do I have to give TT Panel my Backstage password?

No. You are never asked to send us your login details; you connect your agency account yourself from the panel's Settings screen. Your agency account is used only in the setup reserved for you, for your own work; it is never used in another agency's work.

What if a competing agency also uses TT Panel?

You work under the same rules, separately. You both use the same central discovery and eligibility service; but no one sees the other's list, notes, conversations or whom they messaged, and no one is placed ahead of the other. Who reaches a creator first is decided by the teams' own work, not by the product.

How can I verify your independence?

Ask, and ask in writing. Our contract states plainly that your data is never used in another agency's work; in the panel you see the eligibility result and the evidence record for every creator. If you want to know how this would work for your own team, contact us; you can ask every question you have directly.
